The No.2 end of ZA Class no. ZA6 leads the way in this photo at the GEC Rocklea Works. This was the last locomotive to be built at the works and by the company, it was delivered to the Tasmanian Government railways in May 1976.

The construction of locomotives that were fitted with the 12CSVT Diesel engine was divided between three sites, two in the UK and one in Australia.
