Class 37/3 no. 37340 and Class 37/0 no. 37211 are seen at Cheddleton on June 4th 2006 waiting for different fates. 37211 was stripped for spares and sent for disposal, whereas 37340 has undergone a protracted restoration.

The preserved 12CSVT lists have been split into three areas, depending on which country/continent that the locomotives are currently located, these being 'British Based', 'African Based' or 'Australian Based'. Use the menus of the left to choose the list that you need.

Once you have selected the area listed, a page will appear that has 'tabs' of each class of locomotives that has been represented in preservation at some point, even if they are not currently. Below these tabs, a list of locomotives includes links to the preserved history page. This will be followed by one or two lists of 'Current' and 'No Longer Preserved' locomotives, the former will show the number carried, base and status, with the later showing number carried and notes on its status on leaving preservation. Both lists will be colour coded to show the status.
