Epping & Ongar Railway
|
|
The railway was part of a 10km stretch of the end of Great Eastern, latterly LNER and London Central Line that runs through beautiful Essex Countryside. After closure in 1994, the line was preserved for use as a heritage railway. A service ran from 2004 till 2007, but it was decided that we would focus on upgrading the infrastructure to improve safety, ensure the long term future of the line, and to enable locomotives to once again operate
