Discover the excitement and nostalgia of steam travel with a journey back in time on the Bodmin & Wenford Railway - Cornwall's only full size railway still operated by steam locomotives.

Relax in style and enjoy a leisurely 13 mile round trip through beautiful countryside, taking in the sights, sound and smells of a bygone age, as the era of a Cornish branch line in the 1950s reveals itself during the course of your journey.

Trains operate from Bodmin General - the line’s main station where free car and coach parking is available - to Bodmin Parkway - where connections can be made directly with main line railway services - and Boscarne Junction on the popular Camel Trail.

Directions by Road	From Exeter and the North take the A30 west via Okehampton & Launceston to Bodmin From Torbay, Plymouth and SE Cornwall take the A38 west to Bodmin From West Cornwall take the A30 east From North Cornwall take the A39 to Wadebridge then the A389 to Bodmin Once you have reached Bodmin, please follow the brown tourist signs to the Railway. Bodmin General Station is near to the town centre and there is a car park (free to railway users) adjacent.
